Antique Victorian LION head relief bangle bracelet

Among all the antique animal jewelry, lion’s head bracelets and Victorian jewelry are considered to be the most desirable. Early Victorian jewelry always seemed to have some mystic and hidden meanings. This fabulous old lion sits in a stately manner on the raised relief design. It has an ornate design on all sides, both of which are really ornate and rich in patina. THe bracelet is oval so it stay on your wrist and does not spin around. The inside measures 7 1/4" long and 1" wide. It has its original safety chain and the hinge and the clasp works well. This is from the late 1800's and is on fabulous bracelet!
