Antique Victorian Aesthetic Bronze Relief Tray, C.1900
Description: Antique Victorian Aesthetic Bronze Relief Card Tray, Late 19th-Early 20th C. Probably England. The surface of the rectangular tray is cast in relief with a large scroll panel with flowering planter and butterfly on a snakeskin patterned ground interrupted by three geometric patterned bands. The tray is raised on four applied bronze legs and is not visibly signed or marked. Dimensions: 12-1/8" Long, 10-1/2" Wide, 1-3/4" Deep. Weight: 4.3lbs. (69oz.) Condition: There is some minor scratching/wear to the surface of the tray with some small dents along the edges of the shaped rim. There is some oxidation to the surface of the bronze. Otherwise, the tray is in good condition.
