Offering this beautiful fold out valentine, circa 1910-20's; decorative cutout flap with the words To My Valentine, folds out to show a three layer decoration - first layer is a colorful wreath of roses and forget me nots and a white dove, below is a red tissue honeycomb rosette; second layer is a young boy serenading his sweetheart with a banjo / mandolin, the third layer is a large ornate gate with curtains and covered with red hearts. Measures 5 3/4 x 4 inches, very good condition, no holes, tears, or stains, no writing, marked made in Germany. Light age toning on back side. The artwork on this one is just wonderful, all the delicate cutouts and the colors are so bright. A beautiful addition to your collection or a wonderful vintage valentine gift!
