This is an antique hand painted tole or tale ware wooden tray from the USA 1920-1930s. The tray measures 2 inches high by 11.5 inches high by 19.5 inches wide and has a stylized floral design in blue, green and pink on black laquer. The tray has loads of gold trim as well. The tray has some cracking from wood shrinkage, some signs of wear, a few scratches and scuffs and some paint chips on the back where the wood has shrunk and separated a bit. These are very hard to find and make very decorative wall hangings as well as a very striking way to serve things.
