Fantastic and rare antique French Louise Phille era tea pot with original ivory handle . The squat, fluted and lobbed form are typical of this silversmithing era, all body is finely hand hammered and refined with foliate motives on the collar top and on the lid . Fanciful mascaron spout . This tea pot realized by orfevre Hyacinthe Prosper Bourg Paris (1827-1854) . Excellent condition ! Hallmaked with French Minerva on the body near handle, and on the collar lid, and on the leaves onder the knob (1st quality sterling silver 950/1000), the maker's mark on the bottom, vertical diamond shaped hallmark with inside H P and B. Hight from base to knob 7,08 in. ( 18 cm.) Weight 27.23 oz. ( 847 grams) Take a look at the hallmarks for any reference .
