Antique 18th-19th century large Turkish Ottoman Sword Yatagan with characteristic ear shaped hilt. DETAILS: The hilt is made of two large pieces of walrus ivory mounted in silver covered metal decorated with scrollwork straight single edged blade cut with a pair of narrow fuller damascened with silver cartouche enclosing inscription in Arabic calligraphy.

CONDITION: worn out silver overlay and minor pitting on the blade.
