Antique Sterling Silver Medallion With Chain Circa. 1900 Britain This kind of medallion was awarded in England during the very early years of the 20th Century for winning sporting events. Most medallions have inscriptions on the back. This one does not. Thus, you may add whatever you like, or leave, as is. Medallion measures 1 3/8 inches in height with bale and 1 inch wide. Maker's mark and 4 hallmarks are on the back. Comes with 20 inch sterling silver chain, of the same era. All in excellent condition. 8.4 gr. 5.4 dwt
