Antique Sterling Silver Curved Match Safe Circa. 1905 British. Hallmarked under lid and on top of base) This item is curved on one side, to fit correctly in chest pocket. Match strike on bottom. Highly decorated. Wonderful craftsmanship. Marked "S" "F & C", anchor, Lion and "f" 25.7 gr. 16.6 dwt. In excellent condition. Can be used as a pill-box today, or suspended from a chain and worn around the neck.
