A beautiful antique Staffordshire gray and white well and tree platter in the lovely Rhine pattern. This is a large platter which measures 190" long and 15 1/2" wide. It is a nice heavy piece weighing just under 7 pounds 10 ounces. The center features a Rhine scene with castle which reflects in the water, trees, people and boats. The wide border has a floral and scroll design. This platter is in excellent condition for its age with no chips. There are some of the usual glaze imperfections on the back. A wonderful collectible Staffordshire platter, great for the holidays, family dinners and entertaining.
