Antique Sheraton Demilune Vitrine China Display Cabinet
This antique, Sheraton Revival period cabinet in satinwood features its original hand-painted floral and figural designs. It has hand-cut dovetails on the center drawer and the overall level of craftsmanship is very high. It measures 76" tall, 40" wide and 18" deep. The upper cabinet and lower stand each measures 38" tall. Overall condition is good. There is a break to the molding below the cornice on the left side, the surface where the cabinet meets the stand is noticeably warped, and there are some minor veneer losses and scratches. The cabinet door lock is in working order. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
