This set of 6 chairs is made of dark walnut and each chair has a cane seat. The seats are all in excellent condition with no splitting or break in the cane. The chairs are solid and sturdy. The splat on each chair is made of turned spindles and the crest rail has a nice shape to it. The legs are slightly curved. The overall condition of this set is very good. I do not know the maker or exact date this set was made. It is antique and may not be perfect. Measurements are 33 1/2 inches tall, 17 1/4 inches side to side and 20 1/2 inches front to back per chair. The weight is 8 pounds per chair.
