Antique Scottish Silver Wine slide coaster, Edinburgh 1866, James McKay. The coaster of circular shape, plain sides, plain molded rim. The silver interior richly engraved with foliage decoration, plain centre engraved with the crest of a broken globe under a rainbow with clouds at each end, all ppr and motto above `At spes non fracta (But hope is not lost) for Hope of Scotland. Fully hallmarked, wood base. Diameter: 5 ¾ inches. Gross Weight: 7.2 oz.
