Fantastic salver, English made in London in 1773, George III period, maker is William Tuite . Bright - cut engraved decoration, shells border, three hoof feet . Engraved insciption in the middle F.L BAZELEY TO HIS SISTER LAVINIA ON HER MARRIAGE WITH J. ELLIOT SQUARE 12 ST. JANUARY 1840 . Excellent condition ! Diameter 6.69 in. ( 17 cm.) Weight 7.04 oz.
