This unusual ceramic planter from the Worcester Royal Porcelain Co., fashioned as an outcropping of rock with evergreen leaves, carries the hallmark introduced in 1863 and in use until 1893 and is the only example of its kind we have seen in our 12 years in business. Measures 14 x 14 x 9 1/4 inches and weighs an estimated 20-25 lbs. There are a few old chips along the top edge and from other places along the side, and a hairline crack that can be seen on the underside. The piece has not been restored in any way.
