This Eastlake style vanity dates from the 1850s and is very nice. The tall swivel mirror is in the center of the piece and there are 2 small mirrors under the lamp shelves as well. There are 7 small drawers on the topper that all have metal pulls. The base piece has a nice big center drawer for storage as well. The legs are thick ring turned posts and they sit on a platform style base. There are use scuffs on the platform. The large center mirror has a few dark spots from age and all 3 mirrors are fogging around the edges a little. Overall this vanity is in excellent condition. A slipper style bench comes with the vanity and is made of rosewood as well. It has a thick padded red velvet upholstered seat and a fancy turned spindle style stretcher. The legs are ornately carved on the seat too. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This piece is antique and will not be perfect. This vanity measures 65 3/16 inches tall, 47 1/8 inches side to side and 20 7/8 inches front to back. It weighs 85 pounds. The slipper bench measures 20 inches tall, 19 7/16 inches side to side and 10 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 12 pounds. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
