Antique Rogers Bros. Silver Plate Neptune Serving Dish
Description: Antique Scallop-Form Serving Dish in Silver Plate, Made in 19C or 20C by Roger Bros. in Hartford, Conn. The dish has repoussé ornament and a scalloped rim. On the underside are stamped the Rogers Bros. hallmark, "Neptune," "9312," and "IS." A sturdy and elegant piece. Dimensions: 1-3/4" High, 12" Wide, 8-1/2" Deep. Weight: 1-1/4 lbs. Condition: The dish is in good condition. There are visible surface scratches and some dings and nicks. Also there is a noticeable 1" dent on the right side of the rim. Overall, though, the piece looks fine. All it needs is a thorough polishing and it's ready for your next dinner party.
