this french around 1800 c. chair is Rare, classy and magnificent with superb quality and slight imperfection for being antique and old...they are called Gossip or Fiance' seat. t item is very rare to find. it is French Red wood guilded legs. the round edge with painting of a french couple, some imperfection on the painting.. my guess is ROCOCO STYLE. it is classic yet contemporary. it is chic and wonderful. the painting on the love seat is suppose to be real. normal wear and tear. wood appears to be in great condition for being antique. this chair is two seater and looks magnificent in a nice living room or even in the study room. gorgious piece of furniture. touch of gold blending with red wood, gives wonderful accent.
