Antique primitive 16.25 inch wood wagon wheel, with 8 unusually shaped spokes and hard rubber outer band. The original use of this wheel is unknown. It was purchased at an estate sale where it was found in a barn. This interesting piece is made from a very hard wood. The outer rim is constructed from 4 sections. One of the photographs, showing a break in the rim, illustrates how the sections were joined together. The wheel measures approximately 16.25 inches in diameter. The rim is about 11/16 inches thick, and the wheel hub is about 2.25 inches thick. The wheel weighs 1.5 pounds. There are traces of red, black, and green paint. This piece has many possibilities for display or other creative uses. Shipping / packaging / handling will be $12.50.
