Antique Porcelain Mantle Clock in the Meissen Style

Unavailable

This lovely old Dresden porcelain clock in the Meissen style measures 18.25" tall, 12" wide and 7" deep. It features four three-dimensional cherubs involved in various activities within a summer or fall harvest motif. Its condition is excellent and we have found no losses to the raised porcelain decorations. The original movement has been replaced with an electric motor movement which requires additional wiring and plug for use. The clock is believed to date from the late nineteenth century, and the electric motor dates from the mid-twentieth century. There are no visible hallmarks on the porcelain. Additional images forwarded upon request.
