Antique Parlor Pulldown Kerosene / Electric Hanging Lamp

Unavailable
Antique parlor pulldown kerosene / electric hanging lamp, with hand-painted glass shade. This rare and beautiful Victorian light fixture has a frame of gold-painted metal, probably brass or tin. It has been converted from kerosene to electricity. The lamp pulls down easily from an overall height of approximately 35 inches to 55 inches. The hand-painted glass shade is approximately 14 inches in diameter. The electric on-off switch is the knob that adjusted the amount of kerosene that was burned. This great antique hanging fixture is in very good condition. The glass shade has no chips or cracks. The glass kerosene reservoir has a crack that is approximately 2 - 2.5 inches in length but is barely noticeable. The lamp functions very well. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping and handling will be determined at the time of sale, based upon zipcode.
