This lovely footed bowl or tazza in the French Louis XV style is crafted from rouge marble and features an ormolu gilt bronze stand. The stand has four organic scrolling legs joined by a stretcher with acorn finial and padded feet. It measures 15.25" across and 10.2" tall. There are no hallmarks and this piece certainly dates from the nineteenth century. It resides in our client's gallery in Larchmont Ny and may be seen in person by appointment.
