This is an English cut crystal pedestal boat shape master open salt, salt dip or salt cellar dating to the late Victorian period around 1900. The open salt has a toothed rim, diamond shaped base and all over waffle pattern. The open salt measures 2 3/8 high by 3 inches long by 2 wide and has a toothed rim, diamond shaped base and all over waffle pattern. The pedestal open salt has one very small shallow chip on one facet but is otherwise in near perfect condition with very little wear. A wonderful find.
