Old Sheffield cylindrical shaped Box with concentric lined pattern,obverse and reverse. This box is one of the earliest found in Old Sheffield Plate and was made between 1750-1760.T is a good example of a similar type of box illustrated in Frederick Bradbury's 'History of Old Sheffield Plate' Page 20.Please note that the close up photograph shows a solder seam which is a diagnostic feature of genuine Old Sheffield Plate
