ANTIQUE Scottish MOURNING Cannel COAL Fob Rare

Unavailable

This is a really old Scottish mourning fob that is made of two kinds of coal. One is cannel ( sometimes called cannelite or candle coal ). It is found in the mines of Newcastle and Scotland and was use for carving objects. I have two pieces ( one is a heart fob that is also listed ) . The color is black ( photos look brown) This is 1" long ( includes bale) and is in very good condition considering its over 150 age. Notice the tiny sparklies on the inside ( looks like diamond dust). .And now for the tedious part that you probably already know: PLease remember that vintage & antique items are not mint, nor are they perfect but they sure are full of old history and charm. All items are sold as is and as found (used and probably vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable there can be no returns on this sale.. Please use photos to make your decisions
