This antique deck of cards measures 2.5" x 1.7" and comes in a brown leather case with Ashville, N.C. etched on the front. The back of the cards have a black and marroon plaid pattern. The Ace of Spades is marked 343, Cadets, J1203, and United States Playing Card Company, Cincinnati, U.S.A. This card was issued between 1910 and 1925. Another card depicts a lithograph of an Indian War period cadet with dollar signs in the top left and bottom right corners. I assume this card was used as a joker. It was issued between 1895 and 1910. Also included are advertising cards for 808 Bicycle Playing Cards and 24 Little Duke Playing Cards. The remaining cards include Ace through King of each of the four suits - Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds. All cards are in good condition, although a little dirty from use.
