Antique Maw NeoGothic Majolica Tile

$115.00
Quantity available: 1
Wonderful five-color majolica tile from Maw & Co's Benthall Works at Broseley Salop in a neogothic design, c. 1865-1875. Terrific glaze colors on a floral design over a central circle with the leaves extending outside the circle at the four corners; the tile is .5" thick. Condition is very good with three spots where the glaze has flaked at the edges as shown--the worst spot of wear being at the lower left corner; very little to no wear otherwise. Excellent glossy finish. Please write with any questions you may have.
