Outstanding, large majolica jardiniere. Possibly unmarked Owens Pottery.
Molded with acanthus leaves, swags, garlands, grapes, flowers and and other classic Renaissance motifs. Finished with brown, cream and cobalt glazes which run into each other.
Circa late 19th C. to early 20th C.
Measures 11-3/4 inches across, 11-7/8 tall.
Very good overall used condition. Lots of crazing and fine glaze cracks. No chips, dings or repairs found.
