SOLD Antique 18th -19th century Turkish Ottoman Islamic dagger Jambiya. A curved double edged blade of Damascus steel wootz, formed with a slender central rib on each side with a reinforced point, an ebony hilt of typical form, an ellipse shaped pommel decorated with rosette shaped button of fine filigree bead work of open wire, in its original low-grade Eastern silver alloy scabbard, with a wooden insert embossed in an elaborate design, with two suspension mounts.

CONDITION: Signs of usage and wear, dents throughout the silver scabbard.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length in the scabbard: 34 cm (13 3/8 in).
