A 19th century Islamic Takouba sword of the Tuareg tribe from the Sahara desert. Details: straight double edge blade stamped with the crescent moon marking, mounted in leather bound characteristic metal hilt, in its original tooled leather scabbard. Overall length: 96cm (37 ¾ inches).
