Two of antique 18th -19th century Central Asian Islamic silver earrings in the form of flowered baskets finely made from many elements of embossed and engraved silver gilt plaques attached to a silver base adorned with turquoises and blue glass beads.
Approximate dimensions: Height: 12.5 cm (5 inches). Width: 7.5 cm (3 in). Weight; 204 gr (7 1/4 oz).
Such earrings were not attached to the ears, but to the head covering
