A splendid antique 19th century Indonesian Shield of circular convex form made of hand-forged copper, applied with elaborated domed brass bosses repousee and hand chased in the form of lions masks and seated figures. Fitted on the back with a large copper handle.
MEASUREMENTS: Diameter: 37.5 cm (14 ¾ in).
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age with minor wear, showing the usage with its original patina.
