This is only one of its kind 17th century Indian sword Firangi with extremely long hand forged single edged straight very sharp blade with single long fuller. The steel hilt is beautifully hand engraved with floral sprays motif, reinforcement panels of the blade are hand chiseled on both sides in low relief with figures of Indian deities. The basket guard has small holes to attach velvet hand cushion (missing). Measurements: total length 54 inches (137cm), length of the blade 45 ¼ inches (115cm), width of the blade 1 3/8 in (3, 5 cm).
