18th century Indo Persian Mughal sword Shamshir -Talwar. Details: with sturdy and very sharp Damascus steel curved single edged blade of unusual wavy form decorated with gold inlaid cartouche, bronze hilt of rare form comprised of a cross-guard formed with a pair of quillons and bulbous terminals, long langets, the grip decorated over its surface with engraved scrolling foliage rising to a pommel shaped as a bird head.
CONDITION: The sword is in good condition considering its age .
REFERENCES: overall length: 80 cm (31 ½ inches).
