18th - 19th century Persian dagger Kard with a recurved single edged Damascus steel blade. Inlaid in gold and silver koftgari on each side at the forte with a lobed panel of floral motifs. The hilt is with a bone grip terminating at the top with large cabochon turquoise. Overall length: 13 ¾ inches (35 cm). The dagger is complete with its original leather covered and hand stitched wooden scabbard. The overall length without the scabbard is 33, 3 cm (13 1/8 inches). Condition: In good condition considering its age, except for some cracks in the grip.
