Antique Art Nouveu solid silver goblet, Russia, circa 1900. DETAILS: slender cup, gilded interior, beautifully engraved with foliate design and cartouche (the Estonian inscription had been added later), standing on the tapered stem with concave foot, hallmarked with Imperial Russian Marks: maker mark in Cyrillic X K, and Russian assay office mark “84” zolotnics (875/1000 of pure silver), Estonian Marks, Lion silver mark and 875. After Estonia regained independence in 1918 a law was in place that all silver on the market, new and old, had to be stamped with the Estonian silver hallmarks. Therefore quite often you can see many Imperial Russian Silver pieces stamped with the Estonian hallmarks.

CONDITION: the goblet is in very good condition, no dents, cracks or repairs.
MEASUREMENTS: approximately 16,8 cm (6 5/8 in) tall. Weight: 103 grams.
