Acquired at the estate sale of an old Russian lady this is a very attractive neillo cigarette case. In Russian silver (84 zlotny), this cigarette case bears the kokoshnik mark from 1896-1908. It was made by a maker identified as Nikolai Biblin. To the front there is an engraving of a palace within the Kremlin in Moscow. The rear is also decorated with neillo. There are also engraved initials looking as though they are M over the cyrillic N (H). The case is in very good condition. Although used, there is no real wear.
