This outstanding Gentleman's Hunt Whip measures 28.75" from the crown of the handle to the start of the "open keeper". The Stag Horn handle measures 5.25". The Sterling Silver collar or Ferrule has an interesting raised wrap-around design. It is engraved "J. McNee". The straight (no warping) shaft or stock is covered with what appears to be braided thread similar to the type used for the whipping near the open rawhide keeper. It is in pristine condition as is the rest of the crop with the exception of a couple of bruises to the silver ferrule which is marked STERLING.
