Extraordinary monumental antique English majolica pottery jardiniere modeled as a monkey holding a colorful yellow and green basket. It is marked on the underside with the impressed Bretby sunrise mark, shape number 1251 and English Registry Number (apparently 546937 which would correspond to the year 1909). In very good used conditions with minor paint flaking and imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements: 18" at widest point by 16" deep by 11" tall (basket) approximately. Basket is about 13" interior diameter.
