In the days before washers and dryers, our hard-working ancestors hand-washed clothes in a bucket or the closest stream, then would wring out the excess water by means of a laundry press, and finally hang the clothes on the line to dry. This is good, old German engineering from the turn of the century!

'Good condition' could include very small fleabite chips or very small hairline cracks in any glass, ceramic, or marble item, but these would be specifically mentioned in the listing.
