Antique German Ditmar Oil Lamp & Reflector

Antique Ditmar oil lamp with pale green glass reservoir and mirrored reflector, made in Germany. This small oil lamp is made to sit on a table or hang on the wall. The green glass reservoir has a fish scale pattern on its top and around the bottom. In raised letters around the base are "Fabrique en Allemagne, DITMAR, Made in Germany". The glass has no apparent chips or cracks. Atop the reservoir is a metal burner; the wick knob has "GERMAN.DITMAR" in raised letters. It appears to raise and lower the wick very well although it has not been tested with oil. The burner has some surface wear. The mirrored metal reflector has a large, round raised trademark on the back, with "MADE IN GERMANY, DITMAR, FABRIQUE EN ALLEMAGNE", a sun symbol and what looks like a wind symbol around a spoked wheel. The reflector has some surface wear but is intact and undamaged; the mirror has some cloudiness, spotting, and loss of silver. The partially frosted glass chimney is without chips or cracks, but is probably not original to the lamp. The height of the lamp, including the chimney, is about 11 inches.
