This is an antique English Regency secretaire bookcase, Circa 1820 in date and in truly excellent condition.
It has been made from the finest solid mahogany with ebony inlay. It has two doors with astragal glazing on top, to display your favourite books, and the shelves are adjustable.
The base has a secretaire drawer and three further large capacious drawers, very useful for storage, and they are solid oak lined with hand cut dovetails.
The secretaire fall can be lowered for use as a desk and the interior has eight small drawers and pigeon holes for storing pens, papers, etc. The writing surface will have a new leather fitted before delivery..
It is ready to grace one of the rooms in your house and is in excellent condition.
