Antique French Silvered Bronze Medieval Revival Clock and Candelabra

Unavailable
This French silvered bronze and black marble clock garniture dates from the last quarter of the nineteenth century, and features four life-like French knights in full armor. The movement is stamped "Ringeut Paris". The overall condition is very good. There is some degree of tarnishing in places. There is a fine scratch to the enamel dial. The marble base of the clock is cracked in the rear and a bit loose. There is a chip loss to the front right corner of the base and some losses and restorations to the marble panels on each candelabra. The top section of one candelabra is a little loose, and with a later nut and missing the original finial screw. The working condition of the movement is unknown and there is no key, but we suspect it works or may be returned to working order. We will be happy to provide a more detailed condition report on the movement, and can provide any necessary repairs prior to shipment. ( hantiques )
