Antique French Silvered Bronze Tea Caddy

This beautiful tea caddy is crafted from bronze and features silverplated mounts including ram heads and three panels in high relief. The top panel depicts frolicking cherubs and the rear panel has a Bacchus theme. The front panel depicts an outdoor French army enlistment scene with a banner which reads ENROLEMENT. There are no identifying hallmarks. Inside are two silverplated vessels with hinged lids which are in extraordinary condition. Additional images forwarded upon request.
