French infantry officer's sword from circa 1814 (late Napoleonic). Very well executed brass hilt with a horn grip, and a leather scabbard with brass mounting. It is in very good condition. At the top of the pommel is a motif with a floral design. The brass band fittings on the scabbard have two suspension rings and a beautiful frog button.
