Antique Floor Model McIntosh Biolite Infrared Heat Lamp

Unavailable
Unusual floor model McIntosh Biolite "Infrared Generator" heat lamp, circa 1930s. This cast iron, metal, and aluminum lamp can be used as a heat lamp, or with a regular bulb could be used as a light source. The aluminum shade is adjustable so that the heat/light can be focused on a particular area. This piece has a great look and would fit into many decors, including contemporary, retro, and industrial designs. The lamp is in good to very good condition. It works great and comes with a heat lamp bulb. The lamp has its original fabric cord which is in great shape and has an on/off switch on the cord; the plug, although usable, has pieces broken off and should be replaced. The body and shade of the lamp are solid and intact, but show signs of age and wear, including paint loss, some surface oxidation, and a few dings. The lamp stand could be repainted or left with its current primitive look. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping and handling will be determined at the time of sale, based on location and zipcode of the buyer.
