Antique English Silver Oval George III Silver Teapot
Decorated with bright cut engraving.
Fully hallmarked at the London Assay Office dated: 1797
Maker: John Tweedie (poss)
The slightly domed hinged lid with oval silver and dark wood finial
and matching wood scroll handle.
The body of the teapot engraved either side with two family crests,
One crest worn but visible (please see photo)
The 2nd crest worn & not visible.
Length: 10 ¾ inches long from handle to spout.
Weight: 17 troy ozs
General condition: Very good, commensurate with age and use.
