Wonderful art nouveau floral design from J.H. Barratt & Co., Boothen Tile Works, Stoke, England, c. 1904, depicting a stylized green peony or poppy on a cream field. The image is wonderful in the way that it fills the area of the tile. The tile is in very good condition with crazing as shown in the image from its original use in a firebox.
