The bowl of this continental silver spoon has been handpainted with painstaking detail and is labeled "Amsterdamsche Poort." It displays a large arch that resembles the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Its handle is topped with a 3-turreted castle above red guilloche enameling that is also handpainted with a blue sword, white festoons and a green laurel leaves. White enameling below displays the word "Batavia."
