Antique Dutch Marquetry Secretaire Chest, circa 1800 in date.
It is made of fabulous mahogany with incredibly complex floral marquetry decoration.This piece is of the highest quality with a beautiful fitted secretaire interior. This secretaire features two useful shelves above six small drawers and a small cupboard, as well as a leathered and gold tooled writing surface. The interior of the secretaire is smothered in exquisite floral marquetry decoration.
The base is has a useful large cupboard, with two doors and a shelf.
