Here we have a beautiful dark walnut rocking chair with really nice vintage upholstery. This chair is from the early 1900's and the upholstery appears to be from the 50's or 60's however it is showing no wear at all. The fabric is warm gold beige with embossed silky monotone floral pattern on it. The armrests are padded and upholstered. It appears one arm rest has split and been repaired at some time. The back is tall and curved and framed by fluted stiles and a carved crest rail. The cushions are nice and thick on this chair. The rockers are in great shape with no cracks or splits. This chair is in overall excellent condition. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. The chair measures 43 1/8 inches tall, 25 1/2 inches side to side and 39 1/2 inches front to back.
